I forgot what this was like :)

I have been tending my friends daughter who is 3 months old this week, and I seem to have forgotten what it was like to have a small baby around! No it hasn't changed my mind about wanting another one or anything like that. I just forgot about how different your life is with a little one around. For example...today she had her first "blowout". Poop was all up her back, on her pjs and on her blanket. Luckily I have some dreft for when the kids eczema acts up, so I got everything thrown in the wash and I cleaned her up. Thank goodness at this age it doesn't stink! I also forgot how often babies poop. My friend is pumping, so I know with breastfed babies it is worse but it's like 6 times a day! Then of course all the extra attention with having to feed them and burp them. She is such a smiley baby, and I love having her around though so all the extra work is completely worth it!!! My kids love having her around too! They sit and talk to her and do everything they can to try to make her smile at them :) They will love it when we have a baby around here again! When she left last night Tasia looked at me with her sad face and said "Mom I'm going to miss Boston!" I assured her she would be back the next day, so she could see her but I thought it was cute that she likes having her here so much she misses her when she leaves.

Other than that nothing new is going on around here. It's all tending, baseball, softball and trying to keep things in order around the house. Last night was the first week night in a while that we had nothing to do, so we watched Bride Wars, America's Next Top Model and The Uninvited (that show takes a VERY unexpected twist at the end!). Anth finished his training for his job at the depot yesterday, and starts his actual job today just in time for the weekend! He makes it sound like it's a piece of cake job, so I am happy for him. Oh and we found out that he's going to be making a little more than we thought because he gets hazard pay on top of his regular hourly wage. My mom came over the other night and helped us figure out insurance stuff, because she does medical billing so she knows which companies are good and which ones will fight us on every little thing we go in for. I thought it wouldn't start until he'd been there 3 months, but it actually starts the pay period after we submit his stuff. YAY!!!! I am stressing about bills and stuff right now, but once is paychecks start coming in we will finally be on our way to being financially stable! That's all I have ever wanted. I don't care about being rich. I don't care if we live in a mansion. All I want is to have a home big enough for our family, be able to pay our bills and get the things we need without worrying if we have enough and to have a little left over for the fun things we want to do. That's not too much to ask is it?!?! Ok well in the economy right now it might be, but hopefully that starts to look up sooner rather than later so that it isn't to much to ask :)

How much information is too much information...

I don't know if any of you watched the news tonight, but apparently there is going to be discussion about how much information the school districts should teach the kids about sex ed. Someone said something about teaching abstinence...ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?! Lets be realistic people. I know everyone has their own opinion, so keep in mind that when you read this you are reading MY opinion. As far as the whole "lets teach abstinence" thing goes I am so against it. I understand we don't want to give every little detail possible about sex, but lets face it if kids want to do it they are going to do it and I think it's better that they have the correct information about it. They need to know that they aren't invincible. People get pregnant and get diseases no matter how much they tell themselves they won't. Maybe this is my opinion because I was a teenage mom. I was a senior and a cheerleader on the varsity squad when I found out I was pregnant. It turned my whole world upside, but I don't regret it for even one second because I wouldn't have Sydney. I want my kids to be informed with the right information (when they are old enough obviously), and not just get some wacky information off the streets! You know that when they hear something they aren't going to come to us, their parents, and ask us if what they have heard is true, so why not give them as much educated information through school that is possible so we can feel comfortable knowing that our kids are not learning sex ed from their sadly misinformed peers!

Mom of the Year :)

Hayley over at Hayley n' Cade nominated me as one of her picks for Mom of the Year! She's so sweet! I have definitely had my moments where I haven't felt much like mother of the year lately, but we all make mistakes right!

Rules for Mom of the Year:

1-Admit one thing you feel awful about involving being a mom. Get it off your shoulders. Once you've written it down you are no longer allowed to feel bad for it. It's over with, it's in the past. Remember you're a good mom!

This is something that happened literally almost 8 years ago, and I still have never forgiven myself for it. Syd had been having a rough night sleeping (she was 2 months old), so I was finally able to get her to sleep in her swing right before I had to get ready for work. I went and showered and came back to check on her, and she had fallen out of her swing!!! I know horrible right! I never opened the latch to the tray on her swing, because I would just slide her in but apparently someone else had. I was so exhausted and I forgot to check it, and she had fallen out. I bawled!!! I still want to cry thinking about it. She didn't even care. She was asleep and perfectly content. My mom was in her room at the time and didn't even know she had fallen out. Like I said I felt and still feel horrible, and I was so lucky she didn't get hurt. Needless to say I have checked every swing I have put any child in since every single time I put them in it!!!

2-Remind yourself you're a good mom, list seven things you love about your kids, you love doing with your kids, or that your kids love about you. These are the things that you should remind yourself everyday that you rock!

1. I love that all 3 of my kids have such different personalitites from each other. They have their own little attitudes, their own moments of tenderness and their own things they will stand up for no matter what people say.

2. I love that even as they grow up all 3 of my kids still want to cuddle with me, and still don't miss a single goodnight hug or kiss right before bed

3. I love that my kids tell us randomly throughout the day that they love us!

4. I love having family movie night where we pull out the pillows and blankets and all fall asleep in the living room together

5. I love waking them up in the morning and seeing their smiley little faces, and listening to them tell me all about the things they are so excited to do that day.

6. I love going outside and watching them run around like wild children, watching them ride their bikes or scooters and watching them jump on the tramp and laugh their butts off while doing it

7. Last but not least...I love when my kids draw or color me pictures, or make me something during art at school. I cherish all of the little things the put their effort into doing for me :)

3-Send this to 5 other Moms of the Year that deserve credit for being great moms and remind them that they are the best moms they can be. Remember to send them a note letting them know that you have selected them, and add a link to the person who nominated you!

1. Erin at Derek and Erin
2. Tasha at Henry Chit-Chat
3. Joanna at The Carter Family
4. Bethany at The Grundvigs
5. Trish at The Williams

It was hard for me to pick just 5, because I think you are all great mom's but there you have it!

Date night!

Last night we took Syd for her first official date night just the 3 of us. Dom was having a sleepver at my sister's house, so we dropped Tasia off with my mom and headed out. Syd got to choose what she wanted to do, and she wanted to see the new Hannah Montana movie. It was a surprisingly decent movie! I expected all the cheesiness of the Hannah Montana show, and it had a little of that but it had a pretty good story line to it too. Syd loved it, and hasn't stopped talking about it! She's been singing the zig zag song since we left last night. It was good for her to have that one on one special time with us! We went to pick Tasia up after and this is what we found her doing.....

....Apparently she was pretending to be a monkey while we were gone. She was hanging on my dad's treadmill (shhh...don't tell him that!) like a monkey hangs in a tree, and she was hanging by one arm and making monkey sounds. She had my mom laughing so hard!

It's about time!!!

I ended up forgetting my camera again the second night, but I did remember last night so here they are! Syd's team kicked some butt last night, and Syd continues to improve more and more everyday. I am so proud of her!!!

Syd's first softball game of the season

I'm pretty sure I won the award for mother of the year last night...HA YA RIGHT!!! Syd had her first softball game of the season last night, and I forgot my camera. I did get a picture of her right before they went out to play with my cell, and she has 2 more games this week so I will be taking my camera tonight. Their game started a half an hour late. I swear they NEVER start on time out there! Yet in Stansbury with Dom's baseball if you don't start on time you don't get to play your whole game (they are very strict with their time schedules). Anyway that is completely off the subject. Syd did really well! I was SO proud of her!!! Last year she had trouble with her batting, and I think was only able to get on base a few times and last night she only struck out once. A definite improvement! I was so happy. She was even able to bring someone home to score :) Here comes my other mother of the year move last night...are you ready?!?! Well since her game was suppose to start at 730 I figured we would be out of their by 830 and would be fine without jackets. NO SUCH LUCK!!! Since they started later and they couldn't figure out how to stop the game when the time clock was up we were there until 930! My poor kids were in shorts and short sleeve shirts or tank tops (Tasia). I felt horrible! Tasia had a little sweater in the car, so she could wear that but it didn't help her legs. So we all about froze to death out there I swear. Tasia was tired and crying by the end of the game that she wanted her blanket. Another genius move on my part...she is so attached to that thing I can't believe I didn't take it with us especially knowing that we would be out a half an hour past her bedtime (if they had started on time). Syd's team played really well though, and I was really happy for her :) I am just out of practice when it comes to these games I guess, and I am going to have to get in my groove again. Tonight WILL be a better experience!

Just my luck!!!

I woke up this morning to do a few last minute things for inspection (mopping, cleaning windows, vaccuming and dusting). Well I was doing the window in my living room and trying to pull my blinds up, and I pulled the stupid things down!!! I am freaking out, of course, since it couldn't be a worse day for this to happen. I called and left a message with the office as soon as it happend at like 7:15, but I wasn't sure if they'd even get it in time to send the maintenance guy over to put them back up. Well I just happened to see the maintenance guy driving by on his little golf cart just now, so I flagged him down and he came in to look at my blinds and is running to get the tools to fix them. Then we were told that we have to have at least one lightbulb in our fixtures for this state inspection, and even though I reminded Anth about it last night he seems to have forgotten to put one in our living room light fixture. I tried to put one in myself, but I am way too short so the nice maintenance man is going to do that for me too LOL I swear I have never been so unprepared for an inspection in the entire 3 years we have lived here!

On a lighter note Dominic had another game last night, and it went well. Sydney has one tonight. It will be her first one for the season since all the others have been rained out. My life of nonstop living at the baseball park has officially started! I have at least 3 games a week right now, and Anth hasn't even started his league yet so it should be loads of fun once he does :) I love watching them all play, but towards the end of the season I get to the put where I am so tired of sitting in lawn chairs or on bleachers that I could go insane!!!

Letting go of control

So usually when we have inspection I spend a whole day going crazy cleaning, cleaning, cleaning! I don't ask Anth to help, because I am so crazy about how things turn out. I think the only thing I ever ask his help on is the garage, because that is "HIS" area! Things are so busy this time though that I did ask for Anth's help a little more. He was going to do our room, the garage and the kitchen. I was going to do the girls room, Dom's room, living room, the bathroom and the laundry closet. I know I got the raw end of the deal, but in a way I prefer it like that. Anthony worked really hard and got the kitchen nice and clean last night, but then he sat down to take a break. I knew it was all over at that point, because I knew that if I sat down I would never get back up. I kept asking him if he was going to work on the room and he said yes. It was hard for me to not go into the bedroom and start doing it myself. The last time I asked him he said he was going to do the bedroom tomorrow (so in other words today). Me being a little stressed about that asks him when he plans to fit that in, because he has to work and right after work we have Dom's game. Our day is pretty full! Plus he still has the garage to do too. So here I am sitting here stressing about everything being just perfect and it's taking every last ounce of control that I have to not go start doing it myself. I am trying to let go of control a little bit, because that is one thing that I am not so good at. I did do a little pick up cleaning in there, but I'm not going to do the organizing that needs to be done. I still have enough of my own stuff I really need to do, but a lot of is it stuff I'm going to do in the morning (like mopping) because I know if I do it too soon the kids will spill on the floor or rub their hands on my freshly windexed mirrors and I am the clean nazi when it comes to inspection time!

Purse Party!!!!

At the end of June (June 27 to be exact) I will be hosting a purse party. For those of you who don't know what a purse party is a lady comes to my house and sets up a display of designer purses. She has Ed Hardy, Prada, Gucci and Chanel that I can remember. Whoever wants to can come by and check out the purses, and if you want to purchase them. I got my Prada purse at a party for $40! I love that purse! Anyway...the point of this post was to tell you all that if you want to come email me your address and all that fun info at abusico2@hotmail.com, so that we can get an invite sent to you :) You are more than welcome to bring anyone that you want with you also. She is suppose to be getting with me next month, so that we can get invites made and I want to start gathering info now to be able to have it all ready.

Teeball game...Picture overload!!!

Dom all dressed in his uniform heading to opening ceremonies!

Walking out onto the field with his team

They were so patient standing out there...Dom's in front with his batting gloves on. He loves those things

A picture of the whole team with the coach!

Dom on third base

Dom hitting

Running into home plate

Isn't he just the cutest little baseball player!!!!

Last night was fun. The fights were ridiculous, but it was nice to get out of the house! Today we are going to be busy doing lots of cleaning for our possible inspection on Tuesday. I say possible inspection, because the lady who comes picks random townhomes to inspect so we could be one of the ones who is lucky enough to not have a stranger wandering through our house or we could be one of the ones who has to endure it. I always stress at inspection time, and go absolutely nuts cleaning. I spend probably at least 5 hours cleaning (if not more), and they are in your house for maybe 2 minutes. Nice huh! I go through these cleaning sprees about once a month anyway where my obsessive compulsiveness REALLY starts to show, but I would prefer to do that on my own time and not when I am forced to. I can't wait to own our own house one of these days!

Our weekend

Dominic had opening ceremonies for baseball and his first teeball game of the season this morning. I love watching him! He gets so into it, and you can tell that he loves every minute of it. He is so determined, and he has a good little arm on him. I may be biased, but I think he is the best hitter they have too :) Although I must admit they are all good little players. I really like Dom's coach this year too! He makes sure to swtich up what position they play when they are outfield, and he changes the batting order everytime so nobody gets the chance to be first 2 times in a row. I took lots of pictures, but I will have to post them later because we are getting ready to head out.

Tasia starting spiking a fever Thursday night that was 102! I decided since her symptoms were getting worse that it was time to take her to the dr, and it's a good thing I did...poor girl has strep throat! The dr said that we could all end up with it in the next 3-8 days. Not exactly something I am looking forward to, but we will deal with it as it comes.

Anth and I are getting a night to ourselves tonight (well sort of). Tasia has been on medication since I took her in Thursday, so she is no longer contagious and my wonderful mom is taking the kids for the night for us so we can go to his brother's house in Herriman to watch the UFC fights on pay-per-view. Anth promised me that we will come after the fights though, so we can finally get some quiet time in. Since it's so rare that we even get that. I love spending time at home with my kids, but I also love spending quality time with my husband. I also love that when my mom takes the kids I get sleep for 8 hours straight, and I get to sleep in!

Poor baby girl :(

My poor little Tasia has had a rough couple of days, and today is just starting :( She woke up coughing yesterday morning. It wasn't anything too horrible, but she was cranky and spent most of the day resting with her Bubba (Dominic...she's pretty attached to him). Then last night right before dinner she went to pull a bag of candy off my bakers rack and pulled 2 glass pie pans down with her. The glass shattered all around her and cut her ankle. Anth said it looked kind of deep, so we loaded up the kids and headed to the ER. We dropped Syd and Dom off at my mom's first, because who knew how long it could take. I got the cut to stop bleeding on the way, but it did look really deep. The whole time I'm thinking I must have cursed myself, because Melissa posted a blog yesterday about her daughter getting stitches and I told her "None of my kids have had stitches yet, but that I was afraid Tasia would be the first because she is so fearless" Sure enough hours later here I am riding the ER to have my little Tasia looked at to see if she needs stitches. When we were waiting forever and a day a nurse came in and gave Tasia a teddy bear, because she could tell that she was nervous and she wanted to make her happy. Sweet huh! Anyway...long story short the dr said her cut could use a stitch, but that numbing it, cleaning it and stitching it would be more of a hassle then it was worth and that it will heal the same with or without the stitch. He ended up having a different nurse come in and just clean and bandage it for her. That nurse I didn't like! I asked him for the little sample of antibacterial cream stuff they put on her to prevent infections and his response was "We don't give that stuff out. You can get it cheap at Walmart" Ok jerk, so you would rather throw a whole tube away that you only used a tiny bit out of then just give the rest to me. Nice huh! So anyway...we come home, get the kids off to bed and TRY to go to bed ourselves. Tasia's cough is getting worse, and she was up probably 5 or 6 times last night. She can't breathe very well and she sounds miserable, and on top of that her foot hurts her. Poor girl huh! She is trying to catch up on the sleep she didn't get last night right now though, so hopefully she can because I feel bad for her :(

I messed up and put the picture of Tasia with her cute teddy bear the NICE nurse gave her at the top of this post. Doesn't she look so thrilled to be sitting in that cramped little hospital room.

Easter!

We had 2 days of Easter celebrations in our family. We started out Saturday morning going to the Easter egg hunt at Desert Peak, and as far as I'm concerned it really wasn't worth it unfortunately. I don't even think the kids had much fun. There were so many kids we thought our kids were going to get trampled, it was over as fast as it started and the kids got maybe 2 or 3 things each. Oh well though...you learn from experience I guess. Later that day we headed up to Ogden to do an Easter egg hunt/ birthday party for my Grandma. The kids got a big bucket full of eggs that had candy and money in them. The girls eggs had hair things and lip gloss too, and the boys eggs had bouncy balls and dinosaurs in theirs.

Sunday morning the Easter bunny came to our house, and left the kids each a cute outfit, some sandles and LOTS of candy! The had a lot of fun searching our house for the eggs the Easter bunny hid. Then it was time to do a quick breakfast of cinnamon rolls and get ready for the day. We went to my parents house from there and the kids got ANOTHER easter basket full of goodies, and then they went to church with my mom. After church we went to Sandy to my in-laws house where the kids got yet ANOTHER easter basket!!! It was nice to hang out there and relax. We had a great dinner of ham, chile verde, tortillas and some salads. Then the kids had an easter egg hunt, and afterwards we went out back so the boys could play horseshoes and the kids could swing on the swingset. We seemed like we were going nonstop all day, and the kids slept WAY good last night. It was the perfect day though! We got to have good food and spend some good quality time with our families :) I would love to put up all my pictures, but I took 150 so I don't think that is possible so you guys only get to check out a few on here lol

This is all of the Easter baskets my kids ended up with at the end of 2 days!

My kids all dressed up in their cute Easter outfits and ready to go!

The 1 lb chocolate Easter bunnies the Easter bunny left them!!!

When the first woke up in the morning to find what the Easter bunny had left them :)

I hope everyone had a great Easter! It's time to get back to normal life schedules around here. Anth started his new job at the depot this morning. I am so used to him being next to me in bed that once he left I couldn't fall back asleep, so I have been up since about 530 this morning. I'm sure it'll hit me later, but for now it gives me time to get my house picked up and of course to spend some time blogging!

Yippee!!!!!!

Anth left early this morning to go job hunting in Salt Lake with his friend. When he got home I was hoping there was positive news, but all he was told was that some guy at a construction company really liked him and his experience but that the soonest he'd have work was May 1st. I wasn't exactly thrilled, but it was better than no job at all right. As I sat here stressing about what we were going to do the phone started ringing, but it was a restricted number and I wasn't in the mood to answer. I figured if it was important enough they would leave a message. A minute or 2 later my phone gives the voicemail alert, so I call my voicemail and guess who it was...THE LADY FROM THE DEPOT!!!!! She was calling, because she had FINALLY finished Anth's follow up and she wanted to coordinate start dates!!!!!! I literally started jumping and screaming, and could barely get the words out but I was finally able to tell him to call her back. He called her right away, and he starts MONDAY!!!!!! The poor guy was starting to give up, because he was trying so hard for the last 5 months to find a job and nothing was happening. Thank goodness for his persistence though, because this lady may never have gotten to his follow up. I seriously wanted to cry I was so happy! NO MORE STRESSING ABOUT MONEY & NO MORE OF HIM GOING CRAZY SITTING HOME....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay it's warm!!!!

It has been so nice having some warm weather these last few days! My poor kids were going stir crazy staying home all the time, so we have been taking advantage of it being so warm. Yesterday we took the kids to the park and Anth practiced hitting and catching the ball with Syd and Dom, so they will be ready for their ball season to start. Tasia was mad when it was time to come home. Poor girl just doesn't seem to get out enough. Today Anth took Dom out again to hit some balls. He loves having that time with Anth, and I love that he is so willing to work with him. Syd seems a little bored with softball, so I am really wondering if she even wants to do it or if it's something she's doing because Anth is into it. I told her today that if she isn't going to practice and try at least that I'm not going to waste my money putting her into a league every year. I don't expect my kids to be perfect and I don't expect them to practice every single day, but I do expect them to try and right now I don't feel like she even wants to try. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes once the season starts. After I got off work I took Tasia and the girls I tend out to play on the tramp and run around the backyard for a little bit. Syd and Dom have been outside all day! They came in long enough to eat lunch and dinner, and have gone right back out. They'll probably both be mad when they have to come in for showers and bedtime.

Tomorrow Dom has practice again, and after practice I am going to chop my hair off!!!! I go back and forth all the time with wanting it long, but right now I have decided that short will be best for me. My hair is super thin and has no volume, so short hair just looks better. Not to mention the fact that when my hair is long all I ever do is pull it back, so I feel lazy because I don't do anything with it. Oh and there is always that little fact that a new hairstyle and a fresh hair color always seems to boost my mood!

Dentist Trip

Our trip to the dentist wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, so I am pretty relieved. They took Syd back 1st and did all of her xrays, then Dom and then it was Tasia's turn. Tasia doesn't even like to open her mouth for me to brush her teeth, so I knew it wasn't going to be all smooth sailing with her. She wasn't having it with the xrays. They tried every little trick possible, but she refused. They said that since it was her 1st trip they weren't as worried about getting the pictures, and that they really just wanted her to get used to the surroundings. So they showed her all their little cameras and sent her back to the playroom. I love their playroom, but at the same time I don't! It made things even more impossible to get her to do what we needed her to. Dominic was already in getting his teeth cleaned by this time, and the dentist said he has really healthy teeth and gums. She did do a sealant on his back teeth, so we don't have to worry about cavities there. She also said to make sure he's flossing, because when their 6 year molars come in it squishes their teeth together and makes it harder to get them clean with just brushing. In his xrays we could see little teeth right under his teeth, so I am guessing it won't be long until he has his 1st loose tooth!!! Sydney's cleaning went really well too. She did have 1 little cavity on one of her back molars, but they fixed it in about 10 minutes. Then we were back to Tasia's turn again. She DID NOT want to sit in the dentists chair, and she sure as hell didn't want them putting anything in her mouth to clean her teeth. We ended with me sitting on a bench, her straddling me and facing me and then laying her back in the dentists lap. She kept her little teeth clenched and didn't want to let her look at anything, but she finally gave in and did really well. She wouldn't let them clean her teeth, but they were able to look for cavities and all that fun stuff. Of course when they were done the kids all got a new toothbrush, some floss and a little toy. We had to fight to get Tasia out of there, because she wanted to stay and play in the playroom. She cried for almost a half an hour after we left, but all in all we got what we needed accomplished and all the kids are good for another 6 months!

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

Dominic did end up having practice tonight, and we froze to death but he loved every minute of it! They just did basically a review of everything, because most of the kids on his team played last year too. His coach seems really good, and I already like him better than I did his last one. I believe he is over the whole league, so we should be kept really informed this year! He promised all of the kids that if they do good during the season that towards the end he will start pitching to them, so they can practice more than just hitting off the tee and get ready for machine pitch next year.

I finally found my program to be able to upload our pictures on our computer, so here are a few those Twilight party pics I mentioned before. It was an interesting night for sure!

Me and Amanda. I was laughing, because my crazy cousin Michele and Jaime from my mom's work were telling us to pretend to makeout with the cardboard cutout. As I mentioned before I am not THAT obsessed with it, so all their comments did was make me blush a little.

My cousin Michele, Jaime (she works with my mom), my cousin Chanda and Darcy (she used to work with my mom). Michele and Jaime are obsessed with Robert Pattinson! Michele was trying to work out a scheme to steal this cardboard cutout of him LOL

On one of the few warm days we had we were outside playing on the tramp, and poor Tasia had some major static electricity going on. I, obviously, couldn't help but take some pictures, and I thought I would share them with all of you so you could get a good laugh too :)

Venting!!!

Since it's my blog I can vent and nobody can say anything right?!?! My last post wasn't exactly positive either, but things are just adding up lately and this is how I have been feeling. First of all, I have been sick lately. I have had the whole achiness, coughing, sore throat, headache...I think you get the point. I hate being sick, and most of the time I am sick I sit here and think "Which one of my family members is going to have it next?". I know I should probably be concentrating on taking care of myself and getting better, but by the time I start getting better someone else will have it and I have no time to rest.

We got our houseguests out Sunday, and even though in some ways I miss them it's SO nice to have my house back. Not for long though, because I start tending again this week. Fun huh!

I am suppose to take the kids to the dentist tomorrow. I also just realized that I am suppose to start tending again tomorrow. That should be interesting! Either Anth will be with me and we will have to deal with 5 kids at the dentist, or Anth will have to stay home with the girls I tend and I will have to deal with 3 kids at the dentist by myself. Neither way sounds exactly exciting, so I will just have to figure out which one is going to be the least hardest of the 2.

Anth still hasn't started working. The lady he has been talking to at the depot was apparently out all week last week, so now she has to do a follow up before they can give him a for sure answer on whether or not he has a job there. Then he also has a friend, who he has worked at with almost every job for the last 5 years, that just got on as a Superintendent for some construction company, and he is trying to get him hired too. It's really frustrating to have 2 jobs dangling right in front of your face and just not have a positive answer on either of them. Poor Anth seems to be giving up, because he has been trying so hard and nothing is happening. I know I've said it before and I will say it again...I hate this stupid economy right now!

Now my biggest issue...I call ORS (Office of Recovery Services for those who don't know what I mean) this morning to ask them if they have received Dominic's POS sperm donors taxes yet and when I will be getting them. The guy tells me they have received his taxes ($1600), and that they are scheduled to be released on September 27th. I say thank you and get off the phone with him and then realize SEPTEMBER 27TH??? There has to be some mistake! I have always been told they have to hold it 6 weeks not 6 MONTHS!!! I mean for hellsake people this is my damn money. The stupid POS can't hold a job for more than 3 months out of an entire year, and when they finally get money from him to help me support my child they are going to hold it for 6 FREAKING MONTHS! My aunt works for the IRS, so I plan on asking her if this sounds right and I also plan on calling back so I can double check that I didn't get some idiot who is misreading information, because anybody who has dealt with ORS probably knows as well as I do that a lot of them seem to be completely clueless when it comes to what they are talking about on your case.

Dom was suppose to have practice again today, but again I am sure it will be cancelled due to this LOVELY weather we are having. I put up Easter stuff the other day, and as I was doing it I was staring out at snow on our grass. That just isn't right! Easter is suppose to be all springy and pretty, but not here in Utah I guess. I have always said I should live in California with my mom's brother and sisters, but moving to Salt Lake is too far from my mom in my eyes so there is no way I will ever move to California! Well sorry to just unload on everyone, but this is my life right now.
